Awesome!!

This is THEE COOLEST calculator!! I love everything about it! You will also!

Brilliant

In an age where ever more extraordinary feats of engineering have become the expected norm of progress, it is easy to overlook isolated examples of coding masterwork. This app is such an example. The ease and subtlety of its writing interface are virtue enough to merit notice, and its graceful integration into a full algebraic, real-time interpretive calculator makes the app come alive in an extremely useful and fun way. Thank you for your inspired work!

Nice app

1st best calculator

Buyer beware with myscript

This company released smart note less than a year ago. An iOS update broke it. They removed it from the App Store and release a new product. That new product is now having new issues with another iOS update. You can verify this If you view the submit a support ticket on their web site. Good for creating (and solving) more complex equations

First, lets be clear: If youre just looking for a simple calculator to do arithmetic (i.e., addition, subtraction, division), intermediate mathematics (e.g., exponents, roots, etc), or even basic trigonometry (e.g., sin, cos, etc) then this calculator may well be more of a frustrating gimmick than a useful tool. If you can easily accomplish your calculations on a traditional calculator, there are better apps that mimic that experience. So when does MyScript Calculator come in? For solving more complex equations that are difficult or cumbersome to type into a normal calculator, or which are easy to enter but difficult to follow the work, or when you want to share the results by e.g. exporting your work as well-structured visual equations (e.g., to embed into homework, a paper, or a presentation). If that’s what you need, this is an exceptionally useful app. If you’re less interested in the automatic attempts to solve your equations and more interested in the ability to simply draft equations, you should check out MyScript MathPad, by the same developer. It uses the same engine for translating writing into equations, but instead of making any effort to solve the equations, it simply provides a blank canvas for creating them. And, as an especially useful feature, it allows those equations to be exported as TeX (a markup language for expressing mathematical notation), which is something that Calculator does not support.

Hate this app

This app is horrible and makes me want to chuck my phone out the window when I use it. It isnt a good calculator at all.

Surprisingly Effective

It would be 5 stars if the touch recognition was better, hit and miss at times

Go to Calculator

Ive use this app for several years now and continue to love it! This is a powerful app, which is easy to use. Recent updates and The ability to review your history are great additions. I appreciate all the hard work and effort to develop her to put into this project. Give it a try I doubt you will be disappointed.

You cant write letters

Its a nice app it helps but they need to work on typing letters when I try to type a, g, it writes 2 and 9 please fix that or allow text typing

Imprecise for fractional calculations

Some problems using somewhat precise fractional numbers with lots of decimal places (6-7, which AFAIK arent usually enough to cause problems with ~8 byte approximating representations) have given me incorrect answers. I suspect this is because of the usage of a limited precision floating-point representation for fractional numbers. If this calculator is using a limited precision floating point representation for numbers, then use an arbitrarily precise representation for fractional numbers. One potential representation that you could use could be a fraction struct. Scheme and Racket interpreters use that representation for arbitrarily precise fractional numbers. It works well. Either that, or something has gone wrong in parsing the mathematical expressions that gave me an incorrect answer. (Or perhaps me and my stats teacher both need glasses).

Nice!

Love the app!

So good!

Awesome app! Please make version for Surface Pro 4 Tablet!!!

Almost Perfect

Its cool. Cannot get it to recognize variables.

Awesome!

Great app! Invaluable for math nerds.

Great App but please add variables.

Its a great app but it really needs variables to add in it.

Love it!

It makes my life so much easier. Especially when it comes to trigonometry.

Dont recommend

Palm rejection doesnt work. App consistently misinterprets what Im writing. Frustrating!

Magic!

This is amazing. My only wish is that I could have it answer in fraction form.

Amazing

Needed something for geometry and this was perfect I will forever use this

Really Helpful App!

Im in 7th grade, so Im doing algebra in math. Right now I have to simplify expressions, so I have to make sure that A.) The calculator Im using understands that when I put parentheses around a negative number, that number is negative, something Im not sure Googles calculator gets. B.) I can even use parentheses in my calculator in the first place, which I cannot first my phone. This calculator fitted both. And its much quicker to use so I dont have to spend seconds navigating the right buttons. It gets what I wrote most of the time, and even if it doesnt, its easy to just start over. However, it would be great if they added that you can put more than one expression at the same time, so that I can compare the two. Overall though, awesome!
